Public Inquiry into the Earthquake Commission
As a first of its kind, the taxpayer funded Public Inquiry into the Earthquake Commission required an identity that distinguished it as independent from Government, yet was still able to convey the credibility of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, who hosted it.
Warm, bright colours make the brand inviting to engage with the public. The house-shaped speech bubble device reflects the key themes of the inquiry and acts as a strong identifier across many mediums. And the very flexible yet simple design system was purposely created to be easily applied across multiple marketing and communications material, both on and offline.
