Calder Stewart are leaders in smarter design and build solutions. Their end-to-end capabilities includes manufacturing their own steel, reinforcing and precast concrete. For over 65 years they’ve serviced the commercial, industrial and rural sectors.
We built a relationship with their team to fully understand the deeper drivers of their operation and worked with them to mature and reposition the brand to turn a South Island focused operation into a national presence.
Our partnership with Calder Stewart has seen us take their story to market across multiple channels and campaigns, including regular brand awareness advertising in Kia Ora magazine.
A world class event for a world class company
We helped Calder Stewart celebrate their 60th Anniversary with an experience that gave employees an opportunity to get a deeper understanding of their company, feel part of its future, and to be recognised for their hard work. Creating a landmark event at the company headquarters, we organised everything from entertainment to catering, crafted invitations and arranged helicopter tours and guided walk-throughs of the steel factory. The dining hall theme created a genuine coast-to-coast experience. Every Calder Stewart employee walked away from the event knowing where the company has come from, what it stands for and where it’s heading.
Making the complex simple
For a complex business, we created a website that visually and intuitively tells the Calder Stewart story as simply as possible and clearly talks to the benefits of working with them. It communicates their capabilities and services across a range of key industries and audiences, spanning from C-level enterprise execs to SMEs and of course, the rural sector. We worked with Calder Stewart closely to determine information hierarchy and studied the customer sales journey to structure content that pre-empts and answers their questions.
Telling visual stories
We developed a suite of case study videos to promote Calder Stewart's capabilities and hero the solid client partnerships they build. Each video is its own a story that discusses the unique challenges and solutions for that project. The stories are told by key Calder Stewart players and their clients, and dig into the complex moving parts of a major build, often documenting the work as it rises up.
