We helped ChristchurchNZ extend the city’s ‘Made for it’ creative platform into an interactive visitor experience. ‘Made for you’ uses AI to create personalised Christchurch itineraries, inspiring travellers while generating qualified leads for future marketing.

The activation needed to showcase the city’s variety, help visitors discover experiences suited to their interests and capture customer data with consent.

We created ‘Made for you’, a gamified experience that takes under 60 seconds. Travellers select their interests and preferences through a simple tablet interface, which connects to ChristchurchNZ’s ‘Ask Ōtautahi’ AI Concierge to generate personalised itineraries using content from their existing CMS.

Users can email themselves their itinerary and enter a competition, with their preferences automatically captured in Mailchimp for targeted follow-up. A QR code also lets travellers complete the experience on their phones.

The activation gives ChristchurchNZ a reusable lead generation platform, with portable units designed for airports, i-SITEs and events. It combines personalised destination recommendations with automated data capture, creating opportunities for ongoing engagement.
