Russells Curtains & Blinds is a real kiwi success story. Originally a fabric merchant, they are now one of New Zealand’s largest manufacturers of custom-made curtains and blinds. We have partnered with them for several years and in that time, we’ve refreshed and further evolved their brand, built two websites, managed multiple sales campaigns and monthly social media, filmed TVCs, and overhauled their marketing channel mix.
We’ve designed and built two websites with Russells. Today’s iteration offers lots of inspiration and search functions so people can peruse which products and fabric colours and styles they prefer. The guides and advice section is epic with heaps of blogs and downloadable resources to help people make the right decision. This downloadable content is part of an inbound marketing strategy.

Upon first entering the digital space in 2016, we saw a massive uptick of activity across a few years; over 100% increase in website sessions and consultation bookings. More recently, growth has continued to be steady. From 2019-2022 there has been a 36% increase in organic website sessions and a 31% increase in consultation bookings through the website. Russells have experienced an increase in leads of 15%, followed by a 27% increase in revenue. We’ve also significantly increased the average lead value.
