Talley’s is a multi-division, international company producing seafood, vegetables, dairy and meat for domestic and export markets. They’re also an established family business with a long legacy as a local employer with brands Kiwis know and love. Recruiting is vital for keeping this link in New Zealand’s food chain producing, so that’s the hook we developed this campaign around – what if New Zealand ran out of our favourite foods?

As well as a host of great employment perks and benefits, we sold the idea that a career at Talley’s is key to keeping Kiwis enjoying iconic fare we all love to eat. The feelgood vibe of this campaign is perfectly brought to life using a simple illustrative style and animation. This approach was a very deliberate attempt to cut through a lot of ‘same-same’ advertising that was prevalent at the time.

This campaign had a comprehensive staged approach that went from storytelling at the awareness phase, through to a practical benefits-led remarketing and conversion phase to provoke action.
