In 2026, Ōtautahi Christchurch has completed its rebuilding. Fifteen years on from the earthquakes, the city was no longer a city in recovery but a city in motion. Defined by ambition, energy and growing events calendar, it needed to reintroduce itself as a destination, not just a gateway.
Working with ChristchurchNZ to drive domestic and international visits, we developed “Made for it”, a flexible creative platform that reflects the city’s physical maps and ongoing transformation and bold personality. Designed to function as both a hero headline and a flexible tagline, the system adapted seamlessly across OOH, digital, retail and experiential channels.
Launched in January 2026 and for the whole year, the campaign rolls out alongside major moments, including the opening of One New Zealand Stadium at Te Kaha. Angular forms, an adaptive colour system and high-impact messaging brought clarity and momentum to the city’s story, framing Christchurch as the place to be with confidence.
Ōtautahi is a destination no longer defined by its past but made for what comes next.
