We created this brand starting with a comprehensive strategy phase. From this, a key theme emerged to guide the creative response - Te Unua is a portal to explore other times, places and stories.

The hero asset is a robust yet dynamic logo. Designed as an abstract wordmark, it’s unique and memorable, but the real power lies in what it can become - a portal to explore other times, places and stories.

And there are so many ways it can come to life and inform the design of other elements, including wayfinding and patterns to be used throughout the museum.
