About the role
We're seeking a talented Copywriter to join our Creative team. Our Copywriters help solve client challenges and help our clients brands and ambitions come to life. They create and guide content for both offline and digital channels, and regularly present work to clients throughout project stages. In our team, they are regarded as the MVPs, as they contribute to almost every type of work that runs through our agency. Working with our diverse New Zealand clients means no two days are the same, and each project offers new learning opportunities
What you’ll be doing
You will work alongside our Creatives to develop brand voice, messaging, and associated brand assets.
You will be an integral part of the brainstorming sessions, offering creative input, and provide copy expertise to support the development of cohesive and impactful work.
Conduct content audits, develop website content plans, and author web copy to drive user engagement and conversions with the Web Team.
Produce compelling marketing copy and campaign creative for a range of marketing initiatives in partnership with the marketing team.
You will help present our creative vision to clients, regularly attending workshops and presentations.
There is always a fair bit on the go, so you will be juggling multiple projects and keeping everything organised and on point.
About you
You will have a love of words and a passion for how to use them well, and will most likely have gained your experience from within an agency setting or as a freelance copywriter, possibly as a communications expert.
You will back yourself as being confident in the development and execution of brand copy and messaging and be confident in the world of campaign thinking and messaging.
It is likely you will have developed a good working knowledge of how to plan, develop, and optimise digital content.
You will also need to be well organised and able to quickly adapt and apply your skills across a wide variety of topics
You’ll be cool and calm under deadline pressures and able to keep up with the fast pace of working in a team that is focused on providing our clients the best experiences and outcomes.
Your portfolio is packed with copywriting examples that show off your skills.
You also will have likely noticed a few grammatical errors in this copy!
